The PreACT test will be administered to all 9th and 10th grade students , and the Forward exam to 10th grade students, on the KMHS campus TODAY.
All 9th and 10th grade students, MUST be present on campus for testing. Please be aware, all juniors and seniors will NOT be attending school on campus today. Instead, this will be an asynchronous BLUE virtual day of learning for those students (grades 11 and 12).

12 HS^2 students competed in the Aerospace Jam Drone Competition today! Mrs. Basthemer took three teams of students to the Baird Center to compete with their drones they've been working on throughout the school year. The three teams placed 5th, 9th, and 12th overall in the competition after a day full of test flights, modifications, and troubleshooting! Students learned a lot through the whole process, and are already talking about plans for next year's competition!

Mr. Van Dyke and Mrs. Basthemer traveled to Magee Elementary today with some HS^2 students to present at Science Day with chemistry and physics sessions!

AP Physics students investigated dynamic fluids with a lab. Students graphed their data collected in order to determine the speed of the water as it left the container.

HS^2 students had a lot of fun during some choice Green Day sessions! Including a cooking session!

Before break, Mrs. Basthemer also took 6 students to Science Day at Wales Elementary to learn about the physics of illusion. Students learned about the persistence of vision and made thaumatropes!

Before break, Mr. Van Dyke took two students to Wales Science Day to introduce the Elementary students to Chemistry! Students were able to see many demonstrations and then make slime!

AP Exams are only 1 MONTH AWAY!
Students should be finishing any performance tasks that need to be submitted by April 30, 2026 for AP Seminar, AP Research, and AP Computer Science Principles.
All students should be preparing and studying for the final AP Exam that will happen between May 4 and May 15!

SAVE THE DATE – CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATION MAY 30TH! Our KMHS Campus (Kettle Moraine High School, the High School of Health Sciences, KM Global, KM Perform, and KM Connect) will be celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2026 with a commencement ceremony on May 30th at 7:30pm on Vock Field at Culver's Stadium. Please make plans to join us as we celebrate these amazing young people, or watch the livestream at kmsd.edu/grad-livestream. There will be a fireworks display at 8:30 pm. We hope you enjoy the show and we apologize for any disturbance the noise may cause.

Scientific Sketching is a new HS^2 Fine Arts course this year! Students have sketched 2D and 3D objects, made infographics on insects, created fish postal stamps, and much more!
